   Let’s be real, I mostly bought this one way privacy window film cause I was tired of feeling like a zoo exhibit for my neighbors and because my sofa was fading faster than my dreams of learning guitar. But this stuff is awesome 👍 it actually works. The little toolkit makes a difference.

   First, the heat reduction is no joke. My South facing patio door used to double as radiator. Now? It’s just a door. Much cooler, less glare-y door. The room temperature feels noticeably better. I haven’t powered up the AC as much, and my electric bill is probably already drafting a thank you note. I’m tempted to do all my windows just to see how low the bill can go.

   The privacy during the day is fantastic. It’s like a one way mirror for your house. At night,if the lights are on inside, the effect reserve. This film handles the day shift beautifully.

   For the installation, I was prepared for a disaster movie starring me but it was surprisingly okay. Here is what I did: 1. CLEAN the window. Every speck of dust will mock you later. I did it three times. No regrets. 2. Mix up a bottle of soapy water. The included spray bottle is perfect for this and for soaking the window and film. 3. Peel, spray the static side liberally and slap the film on the wet window. 4. Use the included squeegee to gently push out the big bubbles and water. Start from the middle and work outwards. 5. Trimming the edges. Take the cutter knife they provided SLOWLY, if you need, use a metal ruler or something straight as a guide.

   The only tiny downside is it does make the room a bit dimmer, like on a gently cloudy day. But it’s a soft, pleasant light, not a dungeon vibe.

   Overall, 5/5 stars. It’s exactly what it advertised and it’s affordable, effective and tools included. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to upgrade their windows without remortgaging their house.

   I love how it looks!

   Easy I mean so easy to apply!

   I love that it comes with every tool needed.

   Only issue is the corner where I peeled the backing off does not want to lay flat on the window so I am wondering how long that will hold.

   But overall is awesome and I recommend for a simple window.

   Installing the Rainbow Window Privacy Film was honestly more delightful than I’d expected—I finally slapped it up on my entryway window after procrastinating, and wow, the effect is stunning! The 3D rainbow vibes really do their magic, transforming basic sunlight into a living, ever-shifting light show. Trimming it to fit my super-narrow window took a steady hand and a bit of patience, but let’s be real, that’s part of the DIY journey, right? The payoff is worth it: my nosy neighbors are now expertly foiled, and my entryway looks about ten times cooler.

   One of the coolest things here is the non-adhesive static cling—no sticky mess, totally removable, and apparently it can be reused if I ever redecorate or move. I’m not about to do a five-year product test, but the manufacturer says it holds up and keeps the dazzling effect for ages, which is good news for commitment-phobes. Plus, with the bonus tools thrown in and all that UV/glares protection, this film is more than just a pretty face. Plants get their glow, my skin gets some extra love, and maybe—just maybe—my energy bills get a little friendlier. If you fancy a window that pulls double duty with privacy and pizzazz, this one totally fits the bill.

   The privacy film is super cute. I’d like to start with the caveat which is it doesn’t give a super rainbow effect, and I did put it in my high sun windows, but it does give a little bit. If you do want a cute privacy film mainly for the privacy part though, then this is a great product for that. I ended up cutting it into some shapes and adhered it to my windows for some whimsy in my kitchen and when it gets the right sun rays hitting it, it will give a small amount of rainbow in the kitchen. Overall I do like the product and I think it’s good for apartments and such if you live on the first floor or low enough people can see into your windows. The print is also extremely cute, I love the flower patterns.
