I’ve been trying to do this review for a couple days and I’m sorry, I can’t record a video without laughing. So your getting pictures, and a story. Let me preface, my wife has been measuring her food with an old food scale that you can’t really zero in. So she guesses by how much it looks, to just how much she thinks it is. She had asked me to get a new a scale, and this one came across my reviews. Its perfect for what she is using it for, meal purportions. Now a few days ago at dinner time, I show her this new hand held scale and went over the operation of it. It’s really simple. If you measure in grams look for the g on the screen. Comes preset to it by the way. It also has oz. Just click the mode button to cycle through the 4 different measurements. Now for the mostly true, story…I watch my wife measure out her Taco meat for her salad. Spooning it into the scoop on the new scale. She says to me how many grams are in an ounce. I tell her honestly, I missed that day of school, and googled it. Ahh 28.3 grams is 1 ounce. Curious I ask do you need grams or ounces for your measurement. She said ounces. I explain this scale has ounces just press the mode button once. She’s super happy now that she doesn’t have to convert grams to ounces and she measures out her 4 ounces of meat. (It gets better trust me) she places the now accurately measured meat onto her plate and says that looks like more than 4 ounces. I then curiously ask, did you zero it before measuring. I get the look of death from her like I spoke a foreign tongue and I might of well just asked her if she was stupid, because that was the next statement. With the look off death and now resentment for marrying me, she was set to prove me wrong, and dumps her plate of meat on to her old scale. Which reads 6 ounces. In joyus tribulation she smirks at me and says see I told you it looked like it was too much. I’m now in shock, I can only stare into her eyes in wonderment of the situation. I ask myself…self, did she just lose her mind? I dare not, speak those words out loud, as torture would soon follow upon last breath. So I just stare, waiting, praying, that the reasoning side of her brain kicks in and she realizes what she has just done. But her victory dance in her mind hasn’t ended yet. She finally sees me staring and I get the tilted head attitude statement of “what!” Now, I have 2 choices, be blunt and set her straight (misery to follow) or I calmly explain the situation. I choose the latter, and I say dear, did you just use the broken scale, that doesn’t zero, to compare to a new digital scale that you insist is zeroed, by your very hands. And now you think the broken scale is correct because it “looks” like 6 ounces, even though the new scale says its 4. If I can ask you, why then, did we need the new scale? The joyus victory soon flushed away, as she realizes the irony of what has just transpired. Her head falls to her chest, and she starts to chuckle, did I really just do that? I then made the dreaded mistake of asking if I should check the bathroom scale, and today when I woke up from dinner three nights ago, is why I didn’t record the use, of the spoon scale. Note:The scale works perfect, and she loves it. It is battery operated and comes with the battery and a smaller scoop. The old scale has been retired.

Came spoons of two sizes, you need to push a bit to get the spoon all the way into the handle, I bought it to weigh cat dry food as my kitty needs to control weight
